A Snowy Love Story for Sara & Ben

Surrounded by snow-capped, towering mountains and the glistening expanse of a crystal-blue lake, Sara and Ben celebrated their love in an intimate ceremony in the heart of Switzerland. The charming veranda wrapped around the venue had gathered mounds of fresh fluffy snow, which the bride and groom had no trouble wading into for some fun, adventurous photos! With white-coated pine trees and a clear pastel sky as their backdrop, the special couple looked as though they had been transported into a winter wonderland straight out of a film - the perfect setting for their snowflake-dusted ceremony. Muted beige and cream bouquets and warm light signs enwrapped the wedding day, adding a soft splash of colour to the natural palette of crisp whites.

The floral décor was incorporated into many elements of the wintry ceremony - hanging from the altar arch, perched on macaron serving trays, and nestled in chic vases within the bride and groom’s changing suites. This special detail made for an elegant, pretty atmosphere throughout the whole day, and added further beauty to that of the love between the bride and groom being presented at the forefront. Crushed velvet furniture, twinkling chandeliers and glowing candles lined along the fireplace welcomed the bride and groom into their classy suite, allowing them a few moments alone to enjoy some delicious cakes in peace. The romantic aura of the Hotel Villa Honegg allowed for complete, utter privacy for the couple - providing them with the intimate, personal ceremony they had dreamed of.

The bride glowed in her stunning two-piece gown... Lace sleeves adorned with delicate, embroidered designs and a flattering plunge back resulted in a regal, ethereal look for Sara. In a cute, stylish nod to the snowy weather, she paired her gorgeous dress with a thin knitted wrap over her shoulders - taking the edge off the winter chill, while also adding another unique element to her outfit. The groom’s classic charcoal suit paired satisfyingly with the Swiss background, harmonising with the greys of the mountains behind. Together, the pair looked as picture-perfect as the dreamy views around them.

As night fell towards the end of the celebration, the custom lighting placed around the venue began to stand out even more - the sweet messages and phrases sparkling throughout the room were waiting to be the focus of everyone’s pictures! Both a mix of warm, retro lightbulb letters and neon, multi-coloured rope lights morphed into neat calligraphy were yet another personal detail selected by the fun-loving bride and groom, adding to the unique setting that reflected their love story.
