An Intimate Garden Soireé

Behind the wrought iron gates of a glamorous chateau, Hana and Stefan’s special ceremony took place amongst rolling, vibrant gardens and glowed in the summer sun. Accompanied by their friends and family, joining the couple from all over the world, the bride and groom revelled in the opportunity to finally be around all of their favourite people again after the tough, isolating years of the pandemic. “We originally planned for about 120 guests, but ended up facing many Covid-related cancellations right up to the day before our wedding,” bride Hana explains. “It was quite upsetting when some important people were unable to come. But even though it was a smaller wedding than we’d expected, it meant we were able to spend meaningful, elongated time with the guests who could make it.”

Pretty in Pink

Dreamy white petals strewn over the aisle led up to the altar arch of blooming flowers – pastel pinks and creams adding to the elegance of the ceremony. With flourishing bouquets decorating the venue’s expansive gardens and the warm August heat blazing, the bride and groom tied the knot in a location fit for a fairytale. “We could have imagined nothing more perfect than Chateau Mcely for our wedding day,” the bride gushes. “After our very first visit, we immediately fell in love with the place.”

A Perfect Pair

A stunning, flowing dress with delicate floral detailing was perfect for the bride – fitting in seamlessly with the thriving nature in the gardens. Her plunging illusion neckline and flowing veil added extra glamour to the look, with her blonde curls and pristine makeup creating the final, flattering outfit. “I also had a second dress for the evening party, but I didn’t get to wear it because I was too busy having fun to get changed! I really loved wearing my wedding dress, though, as it had everything I had wanted, including a bit of sparkle with the flowers.” The groom’s tan suit was clean-cut and striking – a white rose boutonnière complementing the beautiful décor enveloping the ceremony. Together, the pair matched the sophisticated and classy atmosphere of Chateau Mcely.

A Regal Affair

Like a scene taken right out of a classical period film, the bride and groom’s special day had a beautiful and regal feeling in the air. Dancing for hours through the luxury hotel with their loved ones, enjoying the endless and relaxing amenities available, and honouring their marriage by simply having fun with one another was the perfect way to begin the next
step of their lives together.
