A Glamorous Gathering in Italy's Capital

The glistening elegance of the Villa Miani, overlooking the endless views of Rome, was the backdrop of the bride and groom’s special day. Surrounded by shimmering marble and polished, gold décor, the gorgeous ceremony looked fit for a celebrity event. “We chose Villa Miani as our venue because of the view,” gushes the bride. “When we reached the top of the hill and saw Rome from above, we instantly knew it was the one.” Warm lighting illuminated the pastel florals set up in big, blooming bouquets through the venue, interspersed with pristine decorations and flickering candles. The classy atmosphere of the villa was carried throughout the entire day, enhanced even further by the couple’s personal touches. Honouring their ceremony with 115 of their closest friends and family by their sides made the bride and groom’s wedding day even more meaningful. Although not a small ceremony, they still managed to create an intimate feel, individually greeting and mingling with every one of their guests. “We think that the amount of people who showed up to our wedding was perfect,” the bride reveals. “This way, we could interact with everybody during the reception, enjoying the party all together and sharing the best moments with all our favourite people.” Partying the night away beneath a clear, starry sky and with the twinkling lights of Rome below, the couple and their guests alike made sure to create special memories which would last a lifetime.

As night fell over the celebration, the exterior of the villa lit up in a golden glow - flecked orbs of disco lighting dancing over the building as though it were covered in glitter. The bride and groom cut into their magnificent, five-tiered cake with a cascading curtain of fireworks behind them - a magical moment stunning all involved. “The set-up of the Villa Miani was truly more than we could have ever expected. And, of course, the cake cutting under the fireworks was so exciting, too... It was definitely a long-awaited moment for us.”

The bride radiated royalty in her beautiful gown. Picked out carefully from La Vie En Blanc Atelier, a bridal shop in Rome, her dress matched the elegant sophistication of the villa perfectly - the lacy, floral corset and flowing sleeves complementing the stunning look. Her hair was adorned with pearl detailing, put into a pristine up-do, and paired with soft, beautiful makeup to bring the whole outfit together. The groom looked clean-cut and fresh in his suit, picked out by Italian tailor Sartoria Carosi. “He was so helpful when assisting me in finding the best outfit and all the accessories. I was so happy with the final result,” smiles the groom.

No small detail went unnoticed in this dreamy ceremony. With metallic confetti raining down on the wedding party, glowing against the candles and disco lights, everybody taking part in the special day felt as glitzy and glamorous as their surroundings.
