A Classy Celebration for Roberta & Dario

In a quaint yet elegant church nestled in the centre of Monopoli, Roberta and Dario’s religious ceremony was one of beauty and class. Surrounded by the stunning, pristine whites and golds of the church’s décor, the bride and groom radiated pure love on their wedding day, and the couple and their guests could not help but feel blown away by the beautiful atmosphere. Despite having been together for many years prior to their ceremony and having travelled continuously all over the world, for their special day the couple decided to go back to their roots and get married in their beloved Apulia. This touching reminder of their home soil for the most important day in their journey provided the bride and groom with a sense of belonging and nostalgia, and gave the perfect backdrop for them to tie the knot.

Their private party in a traditional Masseria following the dreamy ceremony was held beneath an atmospheric, cloudy sky. Rows of sparkling fairy lights were draped from tree to tree above long tables lined with soft pink chiffon detailing and blooming florals, and the event was lit up with endless candles and locally made chandeliers. The bride and groom left no stone unturned when it came to planning their dream wedding, and the thoughtful and specific elegance of their chosen décor proves it. Their guests were presented with exquisite Italian cuisine, which enabled them to lose themselves fully in the deliciousness of their meals and the incredible surroundings of the wedding party. “We were very thorough about the planning,” laughs the bride,” but that’s just how we are! Everything had to be impeccable, and I’m happy to say that it was. Every detail was the perfect mix between modernity and tradition.”

Bride Roberta’s dainty, beautiful gown looked as though it was made just for her – floral embellishments and fitted three-quarter-length sleeves added to the regal femininity of her ensemble. Her flowing veil completed the look, and her elegant updo looked as fit for a celebrity event as their venue did. Groom Dario looked sophisticated in his traditional, black three-piece – his white boutonniere was a subtle nod towards the expansive floral décor scattered around the villa gardens.

As well as all of their perfected decorations, the bride and groom’s wedding celebration revolved around music, and they made sure that their specially curated playlists were top-notch and enjoyable for everyone involved. They hired a famed DJ to perform during their party, and he played endless tunes for the special couple and their guests until dawn, allowing everyone to party together and enjoy each other’s company until the sun came up. Every detail of their wedding day was customised and perfectly tailored to make this event stand out from the rest, and to secure a spot in everyone’s memory for a long time to come.
