Barcelona Real Wedding - A European Fairytale

An Outdoor Celebration

Whisked away beneath immense, native trees and the blazing summertime sun, the tropical ambience of a Barcelonian villa enwrapped Hannah and Thomas’ special day. 140 of their most treasured friends and family watched their dreamy ceremony beneath classy parasols, celebrating under the rich, Spanish heat as the bride and groom said “I do”. The luxury, antique aura of the Gran Villa Rosa seeped through every element of the couple’s wedding day –from regal floral arrangements to majestic outdoor lighting entwined with the trees; the bride and groom even hosted an adorable Volkswagen camper-turned-photobooth to capture their memories. 

The Dream Dress

The bride looked elegant in her stunning dream dress – a custom-made piece by Swedish designer Ida Lanto. “I’ve always dreamed of Ida Lanto’s couture and said to myself that one day, she’s designing my wedding dress,” smiles Hannah. “I contacted her and flew to Sweden, where we started sketching and looking for the perfect materials.” After a couple of trips back and forth, the dream team did it! The bride’s dress of her dreams was complete, and it was perfect. In her hair, the bride adorned a crowned jewel made of emeralds and diamonds that she inherited from her father after he passed. It was a special moment for her and her family, as she held a comforting element of him with her throughout the big day. Custom-made, Italian dark navy was the groom’s suit of choice, paired with classy, black leather Oxford shoes and his Rolex watch. “I’m pretty sure Hannah can agree that this was my best look yet,” jokes the groom.

A Special Touch

When getting ready for their special day, another tender moment involving the bride’s late father added an additional personal layer to their magical ceremony. “It was an emotional morning because Hannah gave me a watch designed by her deceased father that was meant to be given to her future husband. I hadn’t known about it, so it was really a moment I will cherish.”
