Overlooking the glistening, vibrant sea and distant hills, Atlanta and Nick glowed in the late autumn heat on their special day. Joined by forty-four of their closest friends and family, the couple hosted an intimate, personal ceremony filled with heart-warming details and unforgettable memories. “We chose an October wedding because wanted it to be a bit cooler than the summer, so that we could still wear UK traditional wedding attire and our guests didn’t melt,” laughs bride Atlanta. “We also have friends who are teachers and guests with kids in school, so it was essential that the wedding date was during the school holidays!” Bride, groom, and guests alike partied until the early hours in the stunning, abroad location, revelling in the tropical bliss of Kalkan.

Opting for a soft colour scheme of sages and whites, the couple’s selected décor fit in seamlessly with the rural views of the villa and its flourishing greenery. Pristine ceremony chairs lined the sea-view deck of the Villa Mavi Koy, and the couple tied the knot beneath a natural wood arch decorated with clean, white fabric and blooming bouquets. Classy florals entwined with twinkling fairy lights lined the dinner tables; cursive, handcrafted signs and evil eye pendants on guests’ plates adding a thoughtful layer to the event for everyone to enjoy. Their close ceremony was enwrapped in a quiet, natural beauty, further enhanced by the pure love and excitement buzzing throughout the entire day.

Bride Atlanta was radiant in her bohemian-inspired two-piece – a flowing train and veil with diaphanous sleeves and custom detailing creating a stunning, relaxed look to perfectly match the blissful surroundings. “I loved wearing my outfit, and I truly felt amazing,” the bride gushes. “It was very comfortable and light, so I was able to manoeuvre easily throughout the day, which was especially important once the dance floor opened up! We’re having an afterparty back in the UK, so I’m very excited to be able to wear it again.” The groom opted for a light grey three-piece suit, looking clean-cut and sophisticated, and luckily, not overheating in the Turkish sun! “Seeing Atlanta appear in her dress, looking so stunningly beautiful, was the most special part of the day for me,” smiles groom Nick.

From a surprise performance by a professional belly-dancer, to the midnight pool party with all of their guests, the bride and groom’s special day was full of fun. Every second was a moment to remember for all included – everyone having the time of their lives in the tropical environment with their dearest companions… And no curfew!
