Beachside Bliss in Maryland for Lauren & Justin

The smooth rustling of dresses in the seaside breeze and the soothing churn of the Ocean City shoreline were the soundtrack to Lauren and Justin’s magical wedding day. A chic, monochrome colour scheme complemented both the beachside ceremony and the classily decorated meal – candlelit guest tables and tasteful floral arrangements bringing the simplistically beautiful event together.

From the dainty string lights draped across the ceiling to the bright, white walls of the venue’s dining space, a pristine, pure aesthetic enhanced the already existing beauty of the ceremony, with the unfiltered love shared between the newly-joined family at the forefront.

Surrounded by their dearest family and friends, the bride and groom tied the knot below a blooming, nature-wrapped arch afront the glistening shore of Maryland; gentle waves rolling in as they honoured their love for one another. Celebrating alongside the pair’s children, closest friends and relatives, the bride recalls her most treasured memory of the wedding being the heart-warming union of their little family.

“It was very emotional,” reveals bride Lauren. “We have 3 kids together, so once we were married, we were all very happy to finally share the same last name!” The bride and groom’s children were constantly involved throughout the special day, making every step of their new journey together even more meaningful and heartfelt.

The bride stunned in a flowing, bohemian LuLus dress - her opting for bare-feet adding an extra layer of serenity and calmness to their sandy ceremony. “My dress was the third one I ordered from LuLus,” laughs the bride. “I ordered the first dress the weekend after we were engaged - and liked it -, but after looking some more, I fell in love with a second one. But then, a few weeks after giving birth to our third child, I tried on my dress and it just didn’t fit the same anymore! However, I will always be grateful that my second dress didn’t fit, because my third and final dress was perfect, and absolutely matched the vibe I was going for!” Groom Justin harmonised serenely with the peaceful, natural atmosphere of Ocean City’s beaches - his grey and black three-piece suit mixing a classy, clean feel with a relaxed, casual aura.

The intimate ceremony was filled with touching, heart-warming moments of which were equally special for the bride and groom, their children, and their guests. The bride and groom haven’t yet decided on a honeymoon location… But wherever they choose to go, we’re sure it will be somewhere as charming and laid-back as their beautiful wedding was.
