Chapel Charm in Texas for Cat & Hudson

Cat and Hudson spent their intimate wedding surrounded by people they treasure the most and the beautiful backdrop of The White Sparrow Barn.

Cat and Hudson’s ceremony had an angelic aura in the air. Snow-white roses and glowing candles scattered around the rustic barn harmonised with the wooden chairs and deep greens of the bouquet leaves...each detail complemented the purity and sincerity of the bride and groom’s union. 145 guests attended to be a part of their special day - a perfect mix of close friends and dear family. The bride and groom, aiming for intimacy and closeness during their ceremony, felt as though this was the perfect amount to ensure the day kept as personal as possible.

At the forefront of their minds throughout the day was the aim to glorify the Lord. This important aspect of their wedding was incorporated into many elements of the day, especially when their bridal party remarked at how faith-filled the couple are during the toasts, and how impactful they had been in many lives around them on their journey with Jesus. The special moment raised many heartwarming emotions from bride and groom to guests alike, and the Sunday ceremony glistened beneath the white-washed wood of the barn.

With fresh flowers lining the aisle, the beaming smiles of their favourite people, and the excitement towards the next chapter of their story together, Cat and Hudson’s beautiful day was filled with love; a warm, benevolent presence accompanying them in their celebration. Stunning in her pristine gown - a plunging, illusion neckline paired with a sweet, oversized bow on her back, the bride truly looked ready for a celebrity event. A perfected, slicked-back bun and natural makeup finished off the look gorgeously... “My hair and makeup artists made the morning feel effortless and stress-free,” smiles the bride. The groom himself was smart and handsome in his classy black suit, and his boutonniere matched the crisp, white roses around their ceremony.

As in every wedding, something had to go a little bit wrong... but, this time, it worked out for the better! “I actually kind of wanted something to go wrong, because it would make for a funny story,” laughs the bride. “After my dad gave me away, he accidentally stepped on my veil and completely ripped it. But I never thought that the thing that went wrong would be so insanely symbolic of the Gospel! Before we understand the Gospel, we are said to have a ‘veil’ over our eyes, preventing us from seeing clearly. So, when Hudson and I stood at the altar, and the veil of being two separate people completely tore... We were one with each other - seeing clearly, with nothing separating us.”
